Getting Ready for Christmas

Sorry for the lack of posts these past weeks, we've been so busy getting ready for Christmas that, like everyone else, we haven't had much time for anything thing else! Caden is getting very excited! He says he wants Christmas "now, now, now". He knows that Christmas is to celebrate Jesus's birth, and that he gets presents (he as asked for "cars, trucks, DVDs and new game"). We have been trying to teach him that he also gives presents for Christmas; we'll be making cookies this afternoon to give to out as presents!

We are so excited about seeing everyone! My brother Michael and his family arrive in Florida today. We'll be heading out to the zoo with them tomorrow, spending Christmas eve with them at my parents' house, and Christmas at our house. They will be staying with us through Thursday. We've been working on Caden's sharing. It is coming along, although it is still hard for him. We haven't been to very many play groups since Brody was born, so as soon as he gets a little older with a more established schedule, we will get back into those. We'll let you know how it goes!
